Retail Workers Unite!

It's that time of year again where retail workers lose their minds. The Christmas season of shoppers drives us nuts. From constant complaining we dont have an item (guess you should have done your shopping earlier!) to associates are unfriendly.... Well, I'm sorry, it's 10 pm and I've been on the floor since 2 pm listening to everyone bitch... so yes, I am going to be unfriendly. WTF

I wish people would understand that yes, they work 8-10 hrs a day but we do it standing up ALL DAY!!!!! 

We hardly see our children, might get to eat (we only get 30 mins) because the mall is PACKED and we take extra Xanax just to get through the day!

I will be so glad when our hours are back to normal!!

Merry Christmas everyone!

It's that time of year again. Christmas has snuck up on us yet again. Spent a lot of money these past few days! Between new tires on my car, iPad Air 2's for me and Brian, iPhone 6 Plus for me, iPhone 6 for Brian, Wii U for the kids and 3 games plus a keyboard for Austin's iPad...... I am finally tapped out. 

Cody is at work right now and I dont go in till 4 pm. It's going to be a long night for me.... work till 10:30 pm then work 3-10:30 tomorrow 

I think it's time for a smoke then chill till I have to get ready for work!

So, it's been a great weekend so far. We've added a new friend to the farm. 

His name is Charlie. He's approx 2 yrs old. We are looking for a female for him and are hoping to add one here soon. 

The kids are enjoying his noises and antics. I know I just love him.

So you think you know it all

I just love how teenagers think they know it all. But when it comes right down to it, they need us as parents just as much now as they did 10 yrs ago. They just dont like to admit it!!

I was going through pics today on Facebook. I cant believe how little my kids were back then. Cody is a Sr in HS this year and is growing up so fast. Next on his list of to dos is going to college, probably Parkland in Champaign, getting a job and getting a car of his own.

Pool night

Every Tuesday Brian plays pool. I usually go with him to cheer him on. Tonight I am sitting at Chief's Bar & Grill in LeRoy Illinois, our home bar. I always look forward to seeing how the guys do. Tonight's team is Mop, Brian, James & Leo. They are playing against a team from up north. 

Nothing like a good, cold vodka and red bull while watching the guys play pool. 

I love watching Brian play pool. It's fun to see how much they like to hit balls around.
