Good Evening!!!!

Well... this has def been an interesting day! Rain all day... nasty out. We dont need more rain for cryin out loud!

Brian is in the barn feeding... Cody is working on his Spanish project (that was due TODAY!) and Austin is running around in the rain!

Good Monday Morning!!!

Well... it's another rainy day here in Central IL. Looks to be about 52 degrees out, cloudy and rain.. like we need more right now. Kids are all off to school and I am enjoying some ME time before getting started on house work.

Hubby is at work, and has already emailed me 4 times this morning telling me he loves me :)

Today is a great day

Love one another with all your heart.. be all you can be for them and they will be all they can be for you.

It's days like these that make me love my family even more!! My son, Austin, informed me that I was "the coolest mom ever" for taking him to see Hello Destroyer on Friday. My son, Cody, told me that while I embarrass him in front of girls, he's glad I am his mom cuz the other kids think I'm cool. And my daughter, Autumn.... Well.. today... she came over to me, grabbed my hand, kissed my cheek and says "Mommy, I loves you!" I Love days like these...

We spent our Easter weekend hanging with friends and those in the extended family. You know, we all have them... friends that have been through more with us that our own family... friends of our children that might as well be ours because they're here more than I am. 

My wonderful husband got me the most adorable card ever!! It says,

"For the one I love at Easter and always,

I have never cried before after getting a card.. so let me tell you this.. even though I'm a cold hearted bitch most days.. I do have a heart and LOVE MY FAMILY!!!

Ok.. so even though I was able to sleep in today... thanks to Mother Nature and her fit, Thunder woke me up at 6:30... I guess around here, that is considered sleeping in!!

Rain is coming down, clouds are all around... dont think we'll see the sun anytime today :(  The kids are playing video games, all the critters have fresh cages and food and water so they are all happy.

It's only 9:20 am and so much to get done... laundry is in... shower by 3. Head to Bloomington by 5:30 pm. Pick up Megan by 6 then head over to the den for a min... then off to the coffeehouse to watch Jake :)

Gotta love the sun during a storm!! This was taken a couple days ago.. but it's pretty cool!

Kids are home.... Easter Weekend has begun

After a long day here at the house, the kids are home. Autumn came home with an Easter Basket, it's SO cute!!! and Austin made a basket for his sister. Cody has been talking about his Co2 car since he walked in the door!!! Will have to see about getting that video on here!

Now Autumn is pissed off cuz she has underwear on.... boy is she in a mood today!!

SO hungry

Sent hubby to get some lunch!! So hungry.

Big weekend coming up!

With the long weekend officially starting here at 4 pm today, we have big plans going on! Friday, I am picking up a girl that we've known since she was a little shit and she'll spend Easter with us. I am taking Austin and Megan to see Hello Destroyer (local band) at the Coffeehouse in Normal.

We are going to have a blast!!! Then it's farm stuff on Saturday and Easter on Sunday.... Still not sure what we're gonna do for dinner that day... Hmmmm... should we have Rabbit for Easter again???  Maybe Ham, Cheesy Potato casserole, veggies... Hmmmm IDK.

Spring 2011 -- It's been a LONG time!

Hello fellow mama's out there! I have neglected you all for so long. I have been very busy around the farm. Between kids, husband and critters, my days have been filled with life, laughter and love.
